PHANTASY STAR UNIVERSE

CHARACTERS AND WORLDS

THE GURHAL SYSTEM

The Gurhal System is the stage for Phantasy Star Universe. It is an all-new solar system, different from our Earth's and the ones that have previously appeared in the Phantasy Star series.

The Gurhal System contains three inhabitable planets: Parum, Neudaiz, and Moatoob. Populating these worlds are four races of people: humans, newmans, CASTs, and beasts.

Protecting peace throughout the system, alongside the Alliance Military Force, is the interplanetary security force known as the GUARDIANS, to which our hero Ethan and his partners belong.

First, a brief introduction to the GUARDIANS Colony and the three planets:

Guardians Colony Parum Neudaiz Mortoob

The GUARDIANS Colony

The GUARDIANS organization owns and controls the GUARDIANS Colony.

The GUARDIANS Colony had modest beginnings as a small colony purchased as the home base for the organization. As the GUARDIANS grew larger, the colony was further developed into the huge residential colony it is today, with over a million permanent residents.

The GUARDIANS travel all across the Gurhal System for missions, using a transportation system called "Vector Tracks" to reach each of the three planets. The Vector Tracks canbe easily recognized due to their rows of ring-shaped control units.

Clyez City

Clyez City can be found at the center of the GUARDIANS Colony and is where the GUARDIANS Headquarters are located.

There are multiple cities in the GUARDIANS Colony that are very similar in design to Clyez City.

The Linear Line

The Linear Line is an antigrav transportation system that traverses the inside of the GUARDIANS Colony. It is also used on other colonies and on extremely large ships.
