New Advanced GUARDIAN Types

Ambition of the Illuminus introduces two new advanced guardian types with new styles of play. The Acrofighter is an expert at striking fast at close range with single-handed weapons and will have exclusive access to the most powerful models of the new slicer weapon class. They also have access to many useful ranged sidearm and twin weapon sets. The Acrotecher is the strongest type at assisting party members with support TECHNICs, and can use a variety of weapons including exclusive access to the highest ranks of the new whip and madoog weapon types.

Acrofighter Type

Description
Advanced type skilled with single-handed weapons. Has very fast reflexes and can use multiple weapons

Level 3 or Higher Level 5 or Higher Level 1 or Higher

Acrotecher Type

Description
Advanced type specializing in support. Has various combat abilities and TECHNIC focus.

Basic Types

Hunter Type

Hunters now have access to low rank versions of claws, shadoogs and machineguns as well as improved access to pistols.

Description
A balanced type with High attack power, good for melee combat. Skilled in use of Striking weapons. A good fit for beginning players

Ranger Type

Rangers now have access to low rank versions of grenades and shadoogs as well as improved access to sabers.

Description
A ranged fighter that can defeat enemies and support allies from a distance. The type's High accuracy makes firearms an ideal fit. Suited for intermediate players.

Force Type

Forces now have access to low rank versions of machineguns, madoogs, and shadoogs. They will also have improved access to pistols, sabers, daggers, and twin daggers.

Description
A type geared toward TECHNICs use. Allows advanced players to play a variety of different roles from powerful attacks to healing and support.

Advanced Types

Fighgunner Type

Fighgunners will be able to use the new weapon classes of slicers and shadoogs. Both their skill and bullet Photon Art limits have been improved as well, keeping their status as an all-around excellent fighting type.

Description
An advanced type combining the abilities of Hunters and Rangers. Primary strength is in striking weapons, but can also use firearms.

Guntecher Type

Guntechers will be able to use the new weapon classes of madoogs and shadoogs and will have access to S-class longbows. Their bullet Photon Art limit has been increased, and their ability to use TECHNICs has been greatly boosted making them a stronger support type.

Description
An advanced type combining the abilities of Rangers and Forces. Can use both firearms and TECHNICs for the ultimate in long-range support.

Wartecher Type

Wartechers will be able to use the new weapon classes of whips and madoogs and will now have access to S-class wands and A-class swords. With the exception of support TECHNICs, their Photon Art limits have been raised across the board, and they will now be able to take full advantage of melee combos and strong attack TECHNICs.

Description
An advanced type combining the abilities of Forces and Hunters. Uses TECHNICs and striking attacks, and has a strong defense.

Fortefighter Type

Fortefighters will be able to use the new slicer weapon class and will now have access to S-class sabers and twin sabers. Their skill and bullet Photon Art limits have been improved, now along with their dominance in melee combat they can also make a more significant contribution with their high damage pistol attacks when needed.

Description
An expert melee fighter focused on striking attacks. Weapon choice is limited but attack and defensive power is unparalleled.

Fortegunner Type

Although the only new weapon Fortegunners will have access to are shadoogs, their raised bullet and skill Photon Art limits will improve their sharp-shooting and shot-spraying and finally give them the use of some melee combos.

Description
An expert ranged fighter focused on firearms. Weapon choice is limited, but attack power and accuracy are unparalleled.

Fortetecher Type

Fortetechers will be able to use the new whip and madoog weapon classes. Only their attack TECHNIC limit has been raised, maintaining the type's exclusivity to the most devastating and visually impressive TECHNIC Photon Arts.

Description
An expert TECHNIC user that can use all TECHNICs with unmatched power. Lacks a strong defense in combat.

Protranser Type

Protransers will not gain any new weapon classes, but will now have access to the S-rank of every weapon they can use, 10 weapon classes in all! They will also have exclusive use of the new EX traps which will affect large groups with pulsing effects. Along with an improvement in their bullet Photon Arts, they now gain the unique ability to see traps without using goggles.

Description
An experimental type that is well-versed in the use of traps. All traps become several times more powerful in the hands of this type.
